Position: Registered Psychologist or Registered Social Worker - Counselling

We are seeking a Registered Psychologist or Registered Social Worker to join our collaborative and client-focused team to provide counselling services. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys the flexibility of private practice and is passionate about supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children, youth, and/or adults. We are committed to supporting a practice that fits your professional strengths.
About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client population across the lifespan – children, adolescents, and adults. You may provide general counselling or focus on the populations and age groups that align with your experience, training, and clinical interests.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual counselling (and family or couples therapy if desired).

Offer evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support client care and service coordination.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation and adhere to professional standards of practice.

Engage in ethical and client-centered care within a private practice setting.
Requirements:
-
Registration as a Psychologist or Social Worker in good standing with professional liability insurance.

Demonstrated experience and competence in providing counselling services.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills.

Training or interest in specific therapeutic approaches or populations considered an asset.
